Fun Christmas Games to Play with Friends and Family: My Personal Favourites!

Hi guys! I’m so excited to tell you about some really fun Christmas games you can play with your family or friends! These games will make you laugh, think fast, and maybe even win some points! Let’s get started!

Christmas Charades

This is just like regular charades but with a fun Christmas twist! One person picks a Christmas-themed word or phrase and acts it out without talking. Everyone else guesses what it is. The person who guesses right gets to go next! You can act out things like "building a snowman," "wrapping gifts," or "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." It's super funny when someone tries to act like a Christmas tree!

How to Play:

1. Write down lots of Christmas-themed words or phrases little pieces of paper and put them in a bowl.

2. One person picks a paper from the bowl and acts it out.

3. The first person to guess correctly gets a point!

4. Take turns until everyone has had a chance to act.

   
   

Name a Christmas Word (Alphabet Game)

This game is all about thinking of Christmas words quickly! It’s like a Christmas A-Z challenge. The goal is to name a Christmas word that starts with each letter of the alphabet. Watch out - if you lose too many times, you're out!

How to Play:

1. The first player names a Christmas word that starts with “A” (like “Angel”). The next player has to name one that starts with “B” (like “Bell”).

2. If someone can’t think of a word for their letter, they lose a point. If you lose 2 points, you're out of the game!

3. Here’s the fun part! If no one else can think of a word for the letter, the player who got stuck doesn’t lose a point. But if someone else thinks of a word, they get an extra point!

4. The game keeps going until you run out of letters or players.

   
   

Christmas Back to Back

This one is so fun and kind of like a quick thinking contest! Two people stand back to back, and the game host calls out a random letter. The first player to shout out a Christmas word that starts with that letter wins a point!

How to Play:

• Pick two people to stand back to back.

• The host calls out a letter (like "S"). One person might shout "Santa!" and the other could say "Stocking!"

• Whoever shouts a word first wins that round and gets a point.

• Keep rotating players and playing until everyone has had a turn.
